Uma forma de homenagear os bravos da 101ª, uma das unidades que iniciou as hostilidades na Normandia e que aguentou a frente na Batalha das Ardenas.

Infantaria Inglesa - British Infantry - Pendraken Painting Competition
Mais uma entrada na "Competição de Pintura da Pendraken".
Desta vez é a uma base de Infantaria Britânica.
Gosto especialmente da figura que carrega sobre o inimigo com baioneta.
Pintado com tintas da Vallejo e acabamento final com Dark Wash da Mig, diluído em Ajax limpa-vidros.

Infantaria Escocesa - Highlander Infantry - Italeri
Estive a vasculhar nas minhas caixas de figuras esquecidas no armário, e encontrei estes "Highlanders" em 1/72 pintados à mais de 10 anos.
Agora ao apreciar estas figuras, reparo no trabalho ainda um pouco naif que estas figuras apresentam. Naquele período estava a dar os primeiros passos na pintura de soldados do período napoleónico. Claro que se os pintasse agora, estariam com um acabamento mais aperfeiçoado.
No entanto tenho algumas saudades de quando jogava esta escala com as regras "Vêm aí os franceses".
