RPG Manufacturing

Esta é a minha primeira experiência com a RPG Manufacturing, uma nova marca no fabrico de veículos blindados da WWII em várias escalas, incluindo a escala 1/144, sobre a qual incide este "post".
A distribuição/venda é feita pela MINIATURE FIGURINES (http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Home.aspx).
A nova tecnologia de fabrico de peças em 3D, permite a utilização de novos materiais e métodos de fabrico, o que resulta em miniaturas mais leves e resistentes ao choque (quedas) e ao manuseio constante na mesa de jogo, além da facilidade de transporte das nossas unidades em miniatura!

Após uma ausência "sabática" de algumas semanas, regressei ás pinturas das miniaturas empilhadas nas minhas prateleiras (montanha de metal).
Neste caso, apresento-vos uma das novidades da Wargames-South, o M7 Priest, ou mais propriamente o 105 mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M7.

After a a few weeks of absence, I returned to my miniatures painting work stored on my shelves (lead mountain).
In this case, I present you one of the Wargames-South new stuff, the M7 Priest, or more properly the 105 mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M7.

DODGE WC, 4x4 Weapons Carrier

O Dodge WC, um veículo de tracção 4x4 (excepto os WC-62 e WC-63 que eram 6x6) e de 3/4 Ton, produzido em diversas versões, que vulgarmente era apelidado de Jipão, dadas as semelhanças com o pequeno Willys mas de maior dimensão.

Produzidos entre 1942 e o final da Segunda Guerra Mundial, estima-se que nas suas variadas versões tenham sido fabricados mais 260,000 unidades. Foi utilizado pelo US Army até à Guerra da Coreia.

As várias versões do Dodge WC incluíam veículos de comando, reconhecimento, comunicações (rádio e/ou telefone), ambulância, etc.

The Dodge WC series was a range of light military trucks produced by Dodge during World War II. The series included weapon carriers, telephone installation trucks, ambulances, reconnaissance vehicles, mobile workshops and command cars. They were replaced after the war by the Dodge M-series vehicles. WC was a Dodge model code: W for 1941 and C for half-ton rating. The C code was retained for the ¾ ton and 1½ ton 6×6 Dodges.

Ambos ficam bem na minha mesa de jogo.
